Very selfless and heroic. If people from the government has his heart and dedication, our youth will have a better future.
I believe Realtors can lead the way.
It should not be the people from the government that should be blame, it should be the religious leaders. These people from the government are their loyal members indoctrinated by them.
Mr. Mike, Mabuhay po tayong mga Pinoy. I believe in my heart that many Filipinos are compassionate and are willing to serve their fellowmen. But there are some who steal the limelight with their corrupt practices and distorted values. Let us join hands to fulfill our dreams for our beloved Philippines, as what I always tell others We are the change that we dream and what this world needs to be.
Thanks for making mention of me and my DTC team in your discussions. Help me in regaining the poor children's love for learning through the Kariton experience. God bless and more power.
Hey Efren, it's really cool to see you here. I appreciate the kind words and what I am doing here is nothing compared to what you are doing.

It is really amazing how we can spread goodwill with technology. I would love to spread the word about you and your team and it is the least I can do. Keep up the good work!
Kampai Mr. Efren! I admire people like you. You are an inspiration to us Filipinos. Many people consider Manny Pacquiao a hero - I don't know why but they do. You are the real hero. Your act deserves more publicity than any other show there is. Keep it up.

We control our own destiny. We should not point fingers when making mistakes. I think most people in the government goes to the path of corruption because they like it better than the righteous way. It's their choice. Therefore, it's their fault. We all have choices. We have a choice between right or wrong. Yes, I do blame my parents for making me a good looking guy (sabi po ng nanay ko pogi daw ako! =p) but I don't blame them for the bad decisions I took. It's all me.
Naku! Maraming salamat po!

I am very much overwhelmed by all the praises I get because in the 12 years that we were doing this all we got were ridicule and pessimism from people most especially when they see the Kariton in the streets telling us that our work will amount to nothing. My teen volunteers often get discouraged, and so that's when I tell them the principles I learned from my mentor who picked me up from the slums the same way we are doing with the students we have now. I really appreciate all the support, my DTC volunteers deserve these praises more because they are the ones who bathe very dirty kids and clean wounds beside from teaching. All they dream of is that many people will replicate our Kariton either as a classroom, a library, a play center, clinc or canteen because they want other kids to experience to be excited when they see the Kariton afar. My purpose is to get poor children back to the love of learning which will help them get out of poverty combined with faith and the right values.

Salamat po sa inyong lahat for the comments. God bless us all!

CONGRATULATIONS TO A TRUE HERO!
